Under Steve Bullock’s leadership, for the past three years Montana has been named the top state in the country for entrepreneurship. Through the Big Sky Trust Fund, the state has supported growing software and high tech companies in Montana.
When PayPal announced they were leaving North Carolina as a result of putting in place a new discriminatory law, Steve Bullock was quick to invite them to relocate in our inclusive, business friendly state.
Montana partnered with organizations to improve broadband access across the state in our public schools, improving digital education for over 20,000 students and doubled the state’s investment in Montana’s Digital Academy, which prepares students for the technology jobs of the future.
Steve recently launched the Montana Business Navigator to help entrepreneurs and small business cut bureaucratic red tape as they start and expand their businesses.
He will continue to encourage and cultivate a business environment that maintains Montana as the number one state for start-ups.
